the work

overview at northeastern, i supported 200+ graduate students through one of the most analytically demanding courses in the engineering management program, operations research. the role required translating complex optimization and simulation concepts into something students could actually apply, under the pressure of real deadlines and high academic expectations. the work technical instruction & support provided hands-on analytical support to students working through complex optimization, simulation, and decision-modeling assignments, leveraging r, sql, and tableau to guide them from theory to application. delivered both one-on-one and group assistance tailored to where each student was struggling. workshop facilitation organized and led weekly interactive workshops covering core operations research concepts, linear programming, network flows, and queuing models. designed structured learning materials that made abstract mathematical frameworks accessible and actionable. student performance & progress tracking monitored coursework progress across 200+ students, provided targeted feedback, and adjusted teaching approaches based on comprehension gaps, resulting in measurable improvements in project quality and student performance throughout the semester. impact 200+ students supported across a single semester measurable improvement in student comprehension and project quality weekly workshops covering linear programming, network flows, and queuing models skills demonstrated r · sql · tableau · operations research · linear programming · data modeling · teaching & communication · analytical problem solving
