overview hal is one of india's most storied aerospace and defense organizations, and my two months there were my first real exposure to the discipline of engineering under constraint. the work was hands-on, process-driven, and unforgiving in its precision requirements. it laid the foundation for how i think about efficiency, systems, and the cost of getting things wrong. the work cnc shot peening & productivity improvement worked on improving productivity and reducing lead time through cnc shot peening, a precision surface treatment process critical to aerospace component manufacturing. analyzed existing workflows and identified bottlenecks limiting throughput. fixture design designed a new fixture that reduced lead time by more than 50%, a tangible, measurable improvement in a production environment where every minute of delay has downstream consequences across the manufacturing chain. impact 50%+ reduction in lead time through fixture redesign direct contribution to aerospace-grade manufacturing efficiency skills demonstrated cnc manufacturing · process optimization · fixture design · engineering problem solving · aerospace manufacturing · systems thinking
